Yard Debris Collection Reminders
What is Yard Debris
The Public Works Department collects Yard Debris on Mondays each week, unless the week is operating off a Holiday Schedule. Yard Debris consists of grass, weeds, brush, and tree parts.
What Isn't Yard Debris
Dirt, rocks, sod, and dog waste will not be accepted in yard waste containers. Do not co-mingle yard waste with trash. All yard debris accumulated from contracted services must be removed by the company performing the service.
Bundle & Tie for Pickup
Branches should be cut to 4 feet in length and bundled with rope/twine. Logs should be cut in lengths of no more than 2 feet and stacked between the curb and sidewalk.
Bag It Right for Pickup
Residents can place their leaves, grass, clippings, sticks, twigs, and garden clippings in a trash/recycling can no larger than 30 gallons, which must not exceed 50 lbs in weight, as well as paper bags.
How it Won't be Picked Up
Yard debris will not be collected if it is put out for pick up in a plastic bag or placed at the curb.
