City Administrator
The City Administrator of the City of Woodbury has the duty and responsibility to review the progress of all work done by all City departments under the direction of the Mayor and Council.

City Clerk
The position of City Clerk is a statutory one and is said to be the heart of the municipal operation. By virtue of her position, the City Clerk serves as the liaison between Elected Officials and the City’s Residents.

Code Enforcement
The Construction Department is responsible to enforce the Building Codes adopted by the Department of Community Affairs of the State of New Jersey.

Emergency Management
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and integrated emergency management system that coordinates community resources to protect lives, property, and the environment through mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery from all natural and man-made hazards that may impact our city.

Finance & Accounts Payable
The Finance Department strives to provide excellent customer service to citizens, contractors and suppliers, and other employees, in a respectful and timely manner consistent with the needs of ensuring the proper use of the City’s assets.

Fire Department
Since being established in 1799 the Woodbury Fire Department has been through its ups and downs and has made major changes with time and technology. The present-day fire department is a combination department utilizing both career and volunteer personnel.

Housing Inspection & Landlord Licensing
Woodbury Housing Department is responsible for the enforcement of the New Jersey State Housing Code as well as other codes and regulations of the City of Woodbury.

Municipal Court
The City of Woodbury Municipal Court is now part of the Deptford Township Joint Municipal Court. All court payments and court dates will be performed through Deptford Township.

The City of Woodbury’s Combined Planning and Zoning Board is responsible for a wide range of regulations that deal with community development and planning.

Police
The mission of the Woodbury City Police Department is to consistently seek and find ways to affirmatively promote, preserve and deliver a feeling of security, safety, and quality of services to members of our community.

Public Works Department
The Public Works Department is responsible for providing the following City services: trash and recycling collection, leaf collection, yard debris (grass, weeds, brush, and tree parts), and removal of snow from City streets.

Tax Assessor
The Gloucester County Tax Assessor is responsible for valuing all properties within the County of Gloucester for the purpose of local taxation. In determining assessments, the assessor uses recognized appraisal methods, including the Cost, Income, and Sales Comparison approaches to value.

Vital Statistics
The Office of Vital Statistics contains all vital records (birth, marriage, death, civil union, or domestic partnership) that have taken place within the City of Woodbury dating back to the early 1870s.
