Traffic Unit
The Traffic Unit works to coordinate the efforts of the Woodbury Police Department in making the City’s roadways a safer place for everyone. This is accomplished through fair and impartial enforcement of motor vehicle laws, professional investigation of motor vehicle crashes, and the education of the public.
The Traffic Safety Unit also conducts a number of traffic safety programs, including RADAR Enforcement, Traffic Data Collection, Pedestrian Safety Decoy Operations, and Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspections. The Traffic Unit also aggressively participates in the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety grant Programs such as “Click it or Ticket”, “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”, and “You Text, You Drive, You Pay”.
For traffic-related questions or concerns, please call 856-845-0065, ext. 174, or email the Traffic Safety Unit.
