On 12/1, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Mantua Avenue and Twells Avenue regarding a motor vehicle crash. Both vehicles involved were towed due to airbag deployment. It was discovered that one of the drivers had several outstanding arrest warrants. This individual was subsequently transported to the Salem County Jail, and a court date is pending.

 

On 12/2, a resident of Lindenwold came to police headquarters to turn herself in on an active warrant. The issuing jurisdiction, Evesham Township, stated they would accept $100 and an ROR with a new court date.

 

On 12/3, a resident of Woodland Avenue in Cherry Hill was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, hindering apprehension, and obstruction. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, and a court date is pending.


On 12/4, a Westville resident was issued a summons for loitering. Court date pending.

 

On 12/4, officers were dispatched to ACCU regarding an unwanted person. Employees reported that a male sitting in the lobby had been previously trespassed and was refusing to leave. After speaking with him, the male, a resident of Glassboro, continued to refuse to leave the premises. He was arrested and charged with trespassing. A court date is pending.

 

On 12/5, a Naomi Avenue resident was charged with resisting arrest and obstruction of justice. Court date pending.

 

On 12/6, a Westville resident was charged with DUI, careless driving, reckless driving, failure to wear a seatbelt, obstruction, and failure to inspect. Court date pending.


On 12/7, a Gloucester City resident was charged with possession of cocaine, failure to provide controlled dangerous substances to police, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Court date is pending.

 

On 12/8, the West Deptford Police apprehended and turned over a resident of Paulsboro who had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Woodbury. After posting bail, she was released on her own recognizance with a new court date. The Paulsboro Police Department then took custody of the woman on their warrant.

 

On 12/9, during a traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Bellmawr. The Bellmawr court granted the driver a Release on Own Recognizance (ROR) and scheduled a new court date. The driver was issued a warning and was allowed to leave.


On 12/10, during a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker, it was discovered that the passenger had an outstanding arrest warrant. The driver was issued a summons for failure to inspect the vehicle and was released. The passenger was released on his own recognizance (ROR) and given a new court date and a summons for failure to wear his seat belt.

 

On 12/11, a Camden resident was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct following an altercation in the Evergreen Square parking lot. The court date is pending.

 

On 12/12, a Mt. Royal resident was charged with DUI. Court date pending.
