Biography
Det. Brandon Volk started his Law Enforcement Career in 2014 with the Gloucester County Communications Center as a Police Dispatcher. In December of 2017, Det. Volk was hired by the Ocean City Police Department as a Class II SLEO Officer. He attended the Cape May County Police Academy and worked in Ocean City until September 2018. Det. Volk was offered a position with the Woodbury Police Department in September of 2018 as a Class II SLEO Officer. Det. Volk was then hired by the Woodbury Police Department as a full-time patrolman in July of 2019. Det. Volk worked in the Patrol Division until February of 2023, when he was promoted to the rank of Detective. Det. Volk is the Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Woodbury. He is also a Field Training Officer, Crisis Intervention Team Officer, Terminal Agency Coordinator, IAAI Fire Investigator, and Domestic Violence Liaison Officer. Det. Volk is currently pursuing his MA in Public Administration with Fairleigh Dickenson University.
