Biography

Det. Corrine Byerley started her Law Enforcement Career in 2016 with the North Wildwood Police Department as an SLEO II Officer, graduating from the Cape May County Police Academy in 2016. She continued working with North Wildwood until October 2016. Det. Byerley was hired by the Woodbury City Police Department as a full-time Time patrolman in November 2016. Before Det. Byerley started her Law Enforcement Career when she served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 2015 to 2021. Det. Byerley served in the Marine Corps as an Expeditionary Fire Fighter and made it to the rank of Sergeant before she was honorably discharged in December 2021. In 2020, Det. Byerley was assigned to the Detective Bureau as an Investigator. In January 2022, Det. Byerley was promoted to the rank of Detective. Det. Byerley also serves as the department's Missing Person and Domestic Violence Liaison Officer.
