Biography
Det. Corporal Nick Cacciola started his Law Enforcement Career in 2012 with Deptford Township as a Class I SLEO Officer. He worked in Deptford Township as a Class I and eventually a Class II SLEO Officer, graduating from the Gloucester County Police Academy in 2013. He continued working with Deptford Township until September 2013. Det. Corporal Cacciola was hired by the Woodbury City Police Department as a full-time patrolman in September of 2013. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2016 from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Master’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2018. In 2014, he was assigned to the Department’s Community Policing Unit. In April of 2016, Det. Corporal Cacciola was assigned to the Department’s PACE (Pro-Active Criminal Enforcement) unit and served as the Department’s Housing Officer. Cacciola was promoted to the rank of Detective in August of 2017 and was promoted to the rank of Detective Corporal in March of 2022. Det. Corporal Cacciola also serves as the Department’s Missing Person Liaison, Intelligence Liaison, Watch Over Woodbury Camera System Coordinator, and Woodbury City Police Association President.
