[ARCHIVED] Crime Blotter 7/25/2025 - 7/31/2025

On 7/25, Deptford police turned over a subject who had an active warrant for her arrest from Woodbury. The individual was unable to post bail and was taken to the Salem County Jail. Court date is pending.

 

On 7/26, a Wallace Street resident was charged with aggravated assault as a result of a domestic incident that occurred inside a vehicle on Cooper Street. Court date pending.

 

On 7/26, during a motor vehicle stop for having no license plates, it was discovered that the vehicle was neither registered nor did it have liability insurance. The vehicle was towed, and the driver was issued summonses for operating an unregistered vehicle, having no liability insurance, and failing to have the vehicle inspected. A court date is pending.

 

On 7/26, a resident of Delaware Street was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct, breach of peace, and violations of rental occupant standards. These charges stemmed from a domestic incident that took place at the residence. The court date is pending.

 

On 7/27, officers were dispatched to Lukoil due to a shoplifting incident. By the time police arrived, the suspect was no longer at the scene. Shortly after, the suspect was found inside the restroom of McDonald's. The individual, a resident of Rodman Street in Philadelphia, was charged with shoplifting, disorderly conduct, and breach of peace. A court date is pending.


On 7/28, during the early morning hours, officers conducted a pedestrian stop on a woman who was observed peering through a car window in the EBZZ Motors lot. The woman provided a false name and was found to be in possession of a package addressed to Friedberg Eye Associates. Officers subsequently identified her and discovered that she had six outstanding warrants for her arrest across different jurisdictions. The woman was charged with hindering apprehension, obstruction, trespassing, and theft of the package. She was then turned over to the Glassboro Police Department on their warrant. The package was placed into evidence, and a message was sent to Friedberg Eye Associates regarding the recovered package. A court date is pending.

 

On 7/28, a Willingboro resident was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Court date is pending.

 

On 7/29, a resident of Pennsville and a resident of Blackwood were each charged with simple assault and breach of peace following a domestic incident that occurred outside on the sidewalk on Delaware Street. Court dates are pending.

 

On 7/29, officers were dispatched to CVS in response to a shoplifting incident. Employees reported that the suspect had left the scene heading toward E. Red Bank Avenue. The male requested an item that was locked for safety. He headed to the checkout, placed the item in his bag, and walked out without paying. Later that day, detectives identified the male suspect, a resident of Wick Boulevard. He has been charged with shoplifting and banned from the CVS store. A court date is pending.

 

 

 

 

On 7/29, officers were dispatched to Spirit Warehouse in response to a report of illegal dumping. Employees stated that an unknown male driving a black pickup truck went to the back of the store and began dumping trash into the dumpster. The employee was unable to provide the license plate number or a description of the male. He was advised to contact the police if they locate any video footage of the suspect vehicle or driver, so that a complaint can be filed. On 8/28, detectives were able to identify the male, an Elkins Park, PA resident. He was charged with theft and trespassing. Court date pending.

 

On 7/30, a S. Warner Street resident was placed under arrest for an active warrant. She was transported to Salem County Jail by the Sheriff’s Department. Court date pending.

 

On 7/30, a resident of Deptford was charged with DUI. While in custody, the male was uncooperative and combative. At one point, he inserted his hands into his anal area and wiped the surveillance camera in the cell with his bodily fluids. He was additionally charged with criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and refusal to be fingerprinted. A court date is pending. The cell was professionally disinfected and cleaned.

 

On 7/31, an intoxicated Clayton resident was charged with misusing 911 by making several false calls, refusing to be fingerprinted, and breach of peace. While in custody, the individual exhibited erratic and volatile behavior, banging on the cell door and shouting obscenities. At one point, he wiped his fecal matter onto toilet paper and stuck it on the camera. Also, soaking toilet paper in toilet water and scattering it around the cell. Additional charges of breach of peace, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct were filed. The subject was transported to Salem County Jail, and a court date is pending. The cell had to be professionally disinfected and cleaned once more.
