Due to NJDOT construction work on Route 45’s Railroad Crossing, Route 45 will be closed at the Railroad Crossing starting Tuesday July 7, 2020 at 7:00 AM until Friday July 17, 2020 at 7:00 PM. Below is a map of the new traffic pattern during construction.

Detailed description of the new traffic pattern: Traffic will use Route 45 (Mantua Pike), Parkville Station Road (CR656), Kings Highway (CR550), and Route 45 (S. Broad Street) and vice versa. Due to no-left turn restrictions and volume concerns, special routings will be as follows:
At intersection with Parkview Station Road, NB Route 45 truck traffic intends to cross the track on the north will be signed to make right turn to Ogden Road and take Parkville Station Road (as a jug handle) to WB Parkville Station Road. Non-truck traffic will continue going on NB Route 45 and using South Evergreen Avenue and South Barber Avenue to by-pass the RR crossing; At intersection with Carpenter Street, local SB Route 45 traffic intends to cross the track on
the south will be going on NB Route 45 first, and then signed to make right turn to Carpenter Street, using South Barber Avenue, left turn back to SB Route 45, then bearing right to take the detour on WB Salem Avenue.
