Assistant Municipal Finance Officer – WOODBURY CITY
The City of Woodbury is seeking a full-time, Assistant Finance Officer. Qualified candidates must have excellent communication, organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Edmunds and Paychex payroll systems is preferred. Knowledge of the New Jersey pension system and health insurance is desirable. The Assistant Finance Officer is also responsible for payroll processing, preparation of quarterly pension reports of contribution, and filing of any federal, state or local reports. The Assistant Finance Officer is also required to assist with the implementation, administration, training, tracking and communication of all human resources policies and programs including performance management, employee relations and HR-related compliance. Candidates should have a minimum of one year payroll experience in a municipal or other government level environment. The City of Woodbury offers a comprehensive benefits package and the contractual salary for this position is $48,965.
