Councilman Sloane has been a resident of Woodbury for 25 years. He is married to Dianne Herland Sloane, Esq.

Mr. Sloane is the Assistant Vice President of Commerce Insurance Services, where he provides safety-consulting services to public and private sector entities.

Mr. Sloane serves as the Clerk of the Mickleton Friends Meeting (Quakers).

Serving on Council for 10 years, Councilman Sloane was appointed as Council President in 2007.
