Councilman Ron Riskie was first elected to serve in 1979, and served as Council President from 2004 to 2006. Mr. Riskie, born and raised in Woodbury and a graduate of Woodbury High School, earned a B.S. in History from Union College in Kentucky.

He is currently employed as an insurance sales manager with AON Corporation.

Mr. Riskie is a member of St. Patrick's Church, and he and his wife Rita have two sons, Ronald and Timothy.
