Councilman Louis was born and raised in Woodbury. After graduating from Woodbury High School in 1977, he obtained a Civil Engineering degree from Widener University in 1990. He is currently employed as Director/Professional Engineer for Earth Engineering Incorporated in Cherry Hill, NJ. He is married to Heidi (Long) and they have three children, Kirsten, Sydney, and Nicholas.

Mr. Louis was first elected to City Council in 2000 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Public Safety Committee.
