William
H. Fleming was
elected in November 2006 to serve the 2nd Ward of the City
of Woodbury as Councilman.
Councilman Bill Fleming and his family
have lived in Woodbury for 23 years where he has been actively
involved
with Woodbury’s Schools (12 years on the Board of Education,
four as President) and coaching and leading Woodbury’s
youth programs. Bill is a graduate of the University of Notre
Dame with Bachelor Degrees in Civil Engineering (’72)
and Geology (’71) and is a New Jersey licensed professional
engineer and planner. He has served as President of both
the Consulting Engineers Council of NJ and the NJ Section
of the American Society of Civil Engineers and was a senior
vice president of an $80 million environmental engineering
firm and member of its Board of Directors. He has more than
35 years of experience working with municipal, county and
state governments and has served on Woodbury’s City
Council since January 2007.
Bill is currently Chairman of
the Finance Committee and serves on Council’s Economic
Development and Public Works Committees. He is president
pro tempore of City Council. |
